About This Project

Rycote Car Gallery & Walled Garden

This exceptional new build annexe was delivered within the grounds of a private estate, combining robust engineering with refined architectural detailing. Designed to function as a secure garage and a self-contained luxury apartment, the project showcases our strength in managing technically demanding, design-led builds.

The ground floor comprises a precision-cast concrete frame with integrated plant and storage areas. Extensive groundwork included complex excavations, retaining walls, and structural concrete elements, laying the foundation for the annexe and future landscaping works.

Externally, oak cladding and full-height glazing soften the concrete base, while the first floor and roof feature standing seam zinc for a sleek, modern finish with outstanding durability.

This mix of materials balances contemporary design with natural textures to complement the landscaped surroundings.

The first-floor apartment includes an open-plan layout, floor-to-ceiling glazing, bespoke joinery, hardwood flooring, and integrated M&E systems. Every detail reflects a high-end finish, from thermal performance to architectural styling.

Delivered to exacting standards, the project involved close coordination with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration with the wider estate. From groundwork through to final cladding, each phase was executed with precision and care.
